- Start by boiling the yakisoba noodles according to the package instructions until they are cooked through. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pan or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sliced onion, and sauté until fragrant and onions become translucent.
Cooking
- Toss in the carrot, bell pepper, and broccoli. Stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.
- Add the drained noodles to the pan with the sautéed vegetables.
- Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using) over the noodles. Toss everything together well to ensure the noodles and veggies are coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Continue to stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Stir in the chopped green onions and toss for the last minute.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
Don’t overcook the vegetables; maintain their color and crunch. You can customize this dish by adding halal proteins like chicken, shrimp, or tofu.
