- 2 fresh lemons (juice and zest)
- 1 tablespoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice and zest, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Marinate the chicken breasts in the mixture for at least 15 minutes.
- Place the marinated chicken in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before drizzling with any remaining marinade.
Notes
Avoid overbaking to keep the chicken tender. Marinate for a longer time if possible for enhanced flavor.
