Description

A delightful combination of warm, flaky biscuits and juicy fried chicken drizzled with sweet and spicy hot honey.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • Hot honey for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the cold, cubed butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Gradually add the milk, blending until a soft, cohesive dough forms.
  4. Turn the dough onto a floured surface. Knead gently, then roll out to about one inch thick. Using a round cutter, cut out biscuits.
  5. Place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. While the biscuits bake, heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts and fry until golden brown, about 5–7 minutes per side.
  7. Assemble by placing fried chicken between warm biscuits and drizzle with hot honey.

Notes

For healthier alternatives, consider using whole wheat flour, almond milk, or experimenting with air-fried chicken.
