Description

A delightful and wholesome salmon dish featuring a luscious glaze of honey, lime, and garlic, perfect for busy weeknights and special gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 skinless salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the honey, lime juice, minced garlic, and melted butter until fully combined.
  3. Place salmon fillets on the baking sheet, skin-side down, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Drizzle half of the marinade evenly over the fillets.
  5. Bake salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Broil for an additional 2 minutes for a caramelized top.
  7. Drizzle the remaining marinade over the cooked salmon and garnish with chopped fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, swap butter for olive oil and use sugar-free honey for lower sugar content.
