Description

A cozy beverage that combines the rich flavors of vanilla and cinnamon with milk tea, perfect for chilly evenings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons loose black tea or 2 tea bags
  • 1 cup milk (whole, almond, or any preferred variety)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 12 tablespoons sugar, honey, or your preferred sweetener
  • A pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, add the loose black tea or tea bags and steep for 3-5 minutes.
  3. In another pan, heat 1 cup of milk over low heat until steaming, but not boiling.
  4. To the warmed milk, add 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt if desired. Stir well.
  5. Remove tea bags or strain out the loose tea, pour the brewed tea into a mug, and add the flavored milk mixture.
  6. Add 1-2 tablespoons of sugar or honey to taste and stir well.
  7. Serve hot, optionally garnished with a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Notes

Adjust the vanilla and cinnamon amounts to suit your taste. You can customize with different types of milk.
