- 1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp pure mint extract
- 3–5 drops green food coloring
- 8 oz Cool Whip or whipped cream
- ¼ cup chocolate shavings (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine the chocolate cookie crumbs with the melted butter.
- Press the mixture into a pie pan and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and allow it to cool completely.
- In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and mint extract until smooth.
- Add food coloring, one drop at a time, for your desired shade of green.
- Gently fold in the Cool Whip until fully combined.
- Pour the filling into the cooled crust, spreading it evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
- Before serving, top with chocolate shavings.
Notes
For lighter alternatives, consider low-sugar sweetened condensed milk or coconut cream for a dairy-free version.
