Description
A creamy Chicken Alfredo Pasta that combines tender chicken, fettuccine, and a luscious Alfredo sauce, perfect for comforting family dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions. Once al dente, drain and set aside.
- Prepare the chicken: Season the boneless, skinless chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat and sear the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and slice into strips.
- Sauté the garlic: In the same skillet, add more olive oil if needed, and sauté the minced garlic for about a minute until fragrant and golden (be careful not to burn it!).
- Create the sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for about five minutes. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and watch as it melts into a creamy dream.
- Combine everything: Return the fettuccine to the skillet, followed by the sliced chicken. Toss everything together until the pasta is well-coated in the sauce.
- Serve: Plate the Chicken Alfredo Pasta hot, garnished with fresh parsley for that extra touch of elegance.
