Description

Warm, flaky crescent rolls enveloping a gooey, cheesy chicken filling, perfect for family dinners and cozy gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add the chicken breasts, seasoning them with salt and pepper. Cook for 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. Allow the cooked chicken to cool slightly, then shred it into tender strands.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until the cheese covers the chicken.
  5. Lay out the crescent dough and pull apart the triangles. Place about a tablespoon of the chicken mixture at the wider end of each triangle and roll up tightly.
  6. Arrange the rolls on a lined baking sheet and brush the tops with melted butter. Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Let the rolls cool briefly before serving.

Notes

For a leaner option, use grilled or rotisserie chicken and opt for reduced-fat cheese if desired.
