Ingredients
Scale
- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, add the chicken breasts, seasoning them with salt and pepper. Cook for 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Allow the cooked chicken to cool slightly, then shred it into tender strands.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until the cheese covers the chicken.
- Lay out the crescent dough and pull apart the triangles. Place about a tablespoon of the chicken mixture at the wider end of each triangle and roll up tightly.
- Arrange the rolls on a lined baking sheet and brush the tops with melted butter. Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
- Let the rolls cool briefly before serving.
Notes
For a leaner option, use grilled or rotisserie chicken and opt for reduced-fat cheese if desired.
