- 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
- Add the diced sweet onions and green bell peppers, sautéing until softened (about 5 minutes).
- Add the lean ground beef, cooking until browned (about 7-10 minutes).
- Stir in the minced garlic, cooking for an additional minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and beef broth, stirring well. Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning and simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Fold in the shredded provolone cheese until melted and smooth.
- Cook the cheese tortellini according to package directions, drain, and mix into the sauce until coated.
