Description

A decadent blend of rich chocolate brownies swirled with creamy cheesecake and fresh blackberries.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter and cocoa powder together until smooth in a bowl, then stir in granulated sugar.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing until a rich batter forms.
  4. Fold in flour until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  5. For the cheesecake layer, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then mix in sugar, an egg, and a splash of vanilla extract.
  6. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, followed by half of the cheesecake mixture. Alternate dollops of remaining batter for a marbled effect.
  7. Use a knife to gently swirl the batters together.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set, allowing to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat.
