Description

A quick and delicious baked chicken recipe with a crunchy exterior and a sweet and spicy hot honey glaze.


Ingredients

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup hot honey sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Olive oil spray (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat dry the chicken breasts with paper towels.
  3. In one bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. In another bowl, pour in the panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Dredge each chicken piece in the flour mixture, then dip into the panko breadcrumbs.
  6. Arrange the coated chicken on a parchment-lined baking sheet and spray with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. In the last few minutes of baking, drizzle the hot honey sauce over each piece and bake for an additional 5 minutes.

Notes

Ensure chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) to avoid dryness. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
