A quick and delicious baked chicken recipe with a crunchy exterior and a sweet and spicy hot honey glaze.

- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup hot honey sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Olive oil spray (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat dry the chicken breasts with paper towels.
- In one bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, pour in the panko breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each chicken piece in the flour mixture, then dip into the panko breadcrumbs.
- Arrange the coated chicken on a parchment-lined baking sheet and spray with olive oil.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
- In the last few minutes of baking, drizzle the hot honey sauce over each piece and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
Notes
Ensure chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) to avoid dryness. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
