Description

A delightful, moist pumpkin bread perfect for autumn, filled with rich spices and sweet flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Stir to combine.
  4. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Add Optional Ingredients: Fold in nuts or chocolate chips if using.
  6. Pour into Pan: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake: Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
