Description

Delightful, chewy blondies featuring warm flavors of cinnamon and brown sugar, perfect for fall baking.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar for the topping.
  7. Spread the blondie batter in the prepared baking pan.
  8. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Allow to cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes
