- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar for the topping.
- Spread the blondie batter in the prepared baking pan.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
For best results, do not overmix and check for doneness before the minimum baking time.
