Description

A quick and indulgent dish featuring succulent shrimp glazed in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or casual lunches.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and rice vinegar to create a marinade.
  2. Reserve a portion of the marinade for later drizzling.
  3. Introduce the shrimp to the marinade and let soak for about 10 minutes.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  5. Add the marinated shrimp to the skillet in a single layer and cook for approximately 2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  6. Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet and let it simmer for about a minute until slightly thickened.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with a drizzle of the remaining marinade.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the shrimp; they cook quickly. Reserve some marinade for additional flavor when serving.
