Description

Hearty stuffed bell peppers filled with lean turkey, rice, and savory spices, perfect for a family dinner or entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium bell peppers
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Salt, pepper, and oregano to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the bell peppers by cutting off the tops and removing the seeds.
  3. Sauté the onions in a skillet over medium heat until translucent.
  4. Add minced garlic and ground turkey; cook until browned.
  5. Stir in cooked rice, diced tomatoes, salt, pepper, and oregano until well mixed.
  6. Fill each bell pepper with the turkey mixture and top with cheese.
  7. Place peppers in a baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes
