Description

A delightful holiday dessert that combines the classic flavors of gingerbread with warm spices, perfect for festive gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9×13-inch cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Whisk until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, eggs, molasses, and warm water until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, smoothing the top.
