- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round baking pans.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix milk, melted butter, and eggs. Gradually incorporate this mixture into the dry blend until just combined.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cakes to cool completely in the pans, then layer them with chocolate pudding.
