Description

Easy and flavorful Beef Tacos perfect for weeknight family meals or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • Taco seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • Soft corn or flour tortillas
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and half a cup of water, stirring until combined. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Heat tortillas in a skillet or microwave until soft.
  4. Assemble the tacos by piling the seasoned beef onto warm tortillas, and top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cheese.
  5. Serve immediately with optional toppings like salsa or guacamole.

Notes

For a healthier version, consider using ground turkey or chicken, whole grain tortillas, and adding extra veggies.
