- 1 round crusty bread loaf
- 8 oz high-quality brie cheese
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 2 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Carefully slice off the top of the round bread loaf, about one inch down, and gently hollow out the inside, leaving about half an inch of bread on all sides.
- Place the round of brie cheese into the hollowed-out bread.
- Top the brie with the cranberry sauce.
- Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves atop the combination.
- Drizzle olive oil over everything and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Set the bread bowl on a baking sheet and place it in the oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the bread is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a couple of minutes before serving warm with reserved bread pieces or alongside crackers.
